The Degree in Law + LL.M. IN global corporate Law and International Relations + Master of Laws is aimed at those students who in addition to wanting a highly specialised comprehensive legal training, wish to start their careers in national and international legal firms. The programme is for those students not only seeking a highly specialised comprehensive legal training, but who also wish to begin their professional careers in the banking and finance sector, and, in particular, in some of the following areas:
- Banking legal advice
- Tax advice
- Strategic consultancy and corporate development
- Auditing and legal-corporate firms
- Investment banking or commercial banking
As a distinguishing feature, CUNEF has added the Master in Global Corporate Law & Master of Laws to this qualification.
Firstly, the Master in Global Corporate Law & International Relations provides the student with a global perspective of law and the international legal system, a characteristic that must define jurists and lawyers in an increasingly globalised world. In this manner, the future lawyer will obtain a solid base in legal training, combining knowledge of multiple legal systems and developing skills that will allow them to become a key figure within an international organisation, both public or private.
Secondly, the Master in Global Corporate Law & International Relations offers an extensive study programme on the international social conditions and international policies and their impact on a global scale in a world that it becoming more globalised. This programme also trains students so that they can develop their professional career in international policy, international business, international diplomacy and international Law.
This Degree is complemented with the University Master of Laws, an official programme for Law Graduates wishing to obtain the training and certification required to practice as a member of the bar before the Spanish courts. The master provides students with the specialised knowledge in each of the different branches of law (public and private), as well as the specific competences and skills in professional advocacy.
The Master of Laws is the first step towards acquiring the profession title of Lawyer, with it necessary to complete the second step with consists in demonstrating the professional training which is performed through an entrance exam called annually by the Ministries of Justice and of Education and Science, pursuant to Law 34/2006 of 30 October, concerning access to the professions of Lawyer and Court Officer.
